If frequency selective circuit can be built by using capacitors and resistors than why inductors are used?

Almost every circuit I have seen as an rf receiver, it uses inductor and a capacitor as a tank circuit. Why not just use RC circuit with opamps to select a specific frequency and than get desired gain too?

Because in an LC circuit, the L (inductor) has a cutoff frequency that allows lower frequencies to pass (low pass), while the C (capacitor) allows more to pass (high pass) as the frequency goes higher. Together they select a frequency to pass (band pass.) in an RC circuit it will pass more of the frequency as it gets higher, as it's only a high pass and can't be a frequency selector.

Will a fuel filter stop an air bubble from getting into the fuel line?

If not, then what will?

PS This is for an aerobatic rc airplane, so the fuel in the tank will slosh around quite a bit while flying.

It's probably not the sloshing causing air bubbles.My guess would be vibration.Wrap the tank in foam padding to help isolate it from the airframe vibration.It never hurts to have a fuel filter in the line anyways though.

Nitro RC Car Question?

How long does a normal 1/10th scale Nitro RC Cars last on a full tank of gas with full throttle most of the time? Giving that it is pretty lean, etc…

The run time of a full tank of fuel varies on how you drive it (like a real car) full throttle hard driving can get you 10 – 15 minutes where as a variation between racing and cruising can bank over 20 minutes of solid drive time. Also, the type of fuel you use will affect performance. And these times these are based on a full tank of 20% nitromethane. this is for 2.5 engine size
