I have 3 of them. 2 Hyper speeds for my 9 and 13 year old children and I have the razor for my self. The Hyper speeds are great beginner cars, My children have only managed to twist the front dog bones and bend the shock mounts. They are vary fast for a single speed trans and a .16 engine (about 30 mph).
My Razor is another story. It's Super fast! 50 mph + Vary durable and vary stable at high speeds. It's suspension components are vary well built and fully tuneable. haven't managed to brake anything yet. the only up grade I've done to the Razor Is a FM radio. for the speed the car can go and it's ability you need better driver control and the radio/ receiver it comes with just do not do it.
If you plan on racing the hyper speed you will need a few suspension upgrades. As for the Razor a better radio and your ready to race!
Exceed RC I have noticed has come quite a long way and as far as I am noticing boast some very professional videos of there products on youtube. which indicates to me if they spend the money of the advertising then the products have to match up there for resulting in good quality products.
