I am new to radio-controlled cars and wondered if anyone could advise on whether to go for nitro or electric?

Hi
As a beginner my advice would be to keep it simple and keep the costs as low as possible until you feel confident enough to tackle more advanced models.
Therefore my answer would be to go for an electric RC car to start of with.
