    Look for “super cells” at solar-world. Just match the solar cell output to your particular RC car’s needs. For these micro cars, .5vDC @ 250mA x 5 in series is plenty of power.

    This is a car I …
    This is a car I made just for the heck of it. It’s built on a Zip Zap chassis and the body is made of sheet styrene. The capacitor is a 1Farad aerogel cap. The solar cells can be found online if you search for high current or NASA cells.The car is much faster on smoother surfaces. You can tell by the way it’s jumping around that my garage slab is pretty rough.
