DOGS Airshow 2008 (Giant Scale Radio Control Airplanes) Normally when you say something is going to the dogs it means that things aren’t good. But in Dayton, Ohio on Labor Day weekend going to the DOGS means some of the best RC flying around. The Half Time Shows were really interesting in that the DOGS did a good job of highlighting almost all aspects of the hobby including 3D, Precision Aerobatics, Warbirds, Turbines, Helicopters, Racers, and even small electric Foamies were represented. One thing that I did notice was that the show changed a little bit each day. The DOGS would add elements to the show as different pilots would arrive to the show. One of the more interesting aspects of the show to me was the Warbirds fly. Radio Control Trucks – Gaydon 2008

Filmed at the 2008 Classic and Vintage Commercial Show at Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre on 08 June 2008. The CVCS also features the uk’s biggest truck model show, at which I exhibited. A pick of some of the best radio control models featured at the show (including my blue & white Scania with the other half driving…) Music is “Return of the Ape” by Arto Aaltonen (non-commercial)
