Tamiya and ABC Hobby Mini Radio Control Cars

www.rccartips.com – Mini r cars from Tamiya and ABC Hobby. Beautiful mini bodies. Datsun Z, Scion, Alfa Romeo, BMW mini Cooper, Toyota Corolla. M05 chassis racing. 11 racers, different equipment (Team Powers 13.5T, Hobbywing 13T, Tamiya Sport Tuned). There was even a 4wd ABC Genetic. In the end the winning car was an M05 with Sport Tuned motor.

What: Mini video review and demo of the Spin Master Micro Terrain Titans Pro Buggy #1, the US version of the Tomy Q-Steer Micro Buggy Hotshot. Available at Toys R Us and Target stores for $14.99.

Comments: I’d give this a 4 out of 5 rating. It’s tons of fun for a micro RC toy. I like that the the Terrain Titans are styled after vintage Tamiya RCs. It’s really speedy, and the selectable normal and turbo speed is nice. Working front and rear suspension on a micro is pretty impressive. The only reason I don’t give this a 5 is it would be better with proportional steering and maybe just a little more power.

The Tamiya LED Light Control Unit TLU-02 enables various light effects when used with separately available Tamiya LED lights and LED Light Unit (TLU-01). The unit enhances overall appearance and realism of your electric radio control touring car. A total of 16 sets (32 lights) of LED Lights can be lit up by connecting two TLU-01 units. Set-up is similar to an ESC, and is simple to understand even for beginners.
*Requires transmitter, battery, TLU-01 unit and LED lights (not included).

*Select headlights, position and fog lights to reproduce realistic evening and night driving.
*Brake, backup lights and blinkers can be activated according to transmitter operation.
